Between Feb. 19-22, the nonprofit Yellowstone Forever, in partnership with A Yellowstone Life, will hold the Yellowstone Summit. The fifth annual online event will host a variety of speakers who will share research experiences and stories from Yellowstone National Park and the southwest Montana region.
Registration opened on Feb. 2 and general admission tickets are $15. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Yellowstone Forever.
One speaker, Rick McIntyre, has served as a seasonal park ranger in national parks for 40 years and spent 15 of those years observing wolves in Yellowstone National Park. He will share stories about the Yellowstone Wolf Project, one of the most comprehensive studies of a large carnivore species in the world. Another speaker will be Nakia Williamson-Cloud, Ipeliikthil’aamkaw’aat, who has worked as a consultant for federal and state agencies and will present about the Nez Perce Peoples’ legacy in southwest Montana. More speakers are listed online.
Presentations will run from 20-45 minutes each and passholders have the ability to upgrade to lifetime access to presentations.
