The Ophir School Board
has established a Superintendent
Search Committee
in response to
the recent resignation of
the current administration.
The Board hired the
Montana School Board
Association as a search
partner, and established
a salary range of $82,00-
$88,000 for the new hire.
The committee will
accept applications
through June 16 and will
make an initial recommendation
to the School
Board for a list of finalists
on June 17. Interviews
for administrative candidates
will be scheduled
the last week in June, assuming
the Board is satisfied
with the overall quality
of the candidates.

Paul Swenson.
The next School Board
meeting is scheduled for
Thursday, June 16 at 3
p.m. in the Big Sky Community
Library. The Board
is looking for volunteers to
serve on the hiring committees
for a Technology
teacher and also for an
Athletic Director. If you
