EBS STAFF
Two longtime service animals from the Yellowstone Ranger District are seeking permanent homes following their retirement from active duty.

Ladybug, a 29-year-old red roan molly mule standing 15 hands high, and Dent, a 25-year-old bay gelding measuring 15.1 hands, both previously supported frontcountry and backcountry operations. The pair are described as gentle, experienced on varied terrain and well-suited as companion animals, in a post by Custer Gallatin National Forest.
Ladybug is known for her calm temperament and enjoys grooming, while Dent is recognized for his playful personality and is best suited for flatter landscapes. Both animals are reported to be good with children and adaptable as pasture companions.
