‘Salons and Saloons’ event to address mental health in Bozeman service industry

A community event aimed at starting conversations about supporting local servers, bartenders, barbers, stylists and hospitality professionals will take place on May 7 in Bozeman. The Gallatin Behavioral Health Coalition and the Gallatin County Mental Health Local Advisory Council is holding ‘Salons and Saloons,’ which will run from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Emerson Center for the Arts and Culture Ballroom. 

Organizers provided an event description in an April 23 release.

The event aims to acknowledge the role of service workers as caring connectors to their clients, share resources, and facilitate dialogue to understand the needs and concerns of the area’s service workers. Complimentary coffee and baked goods will be provided.
