The Teton Valley Skijoring Grand Showdown returns Feb. 21-22 at the Teton County Fairgrounds in Driggs, bringing a weekend of high-speed competition to Teton Valley. Hosted by Teton Valley Skijoring, the annual event features teams of horses, riders and skiers racing down a snow-packed course with jumps, gates and technical obstacles.
The competition serves as the final stop on the PRO Skijor Frontier Tour before the season-ending finals in Salt Lake City, Utah, drawing top professional teams competing for points and tour standings. Divisions will also include sport, novice, youth and women’s categories.
In addition to racing, the event will feature a craft vendor village, food trucks, drinks and family-friendly viewing areas. More information available on their Teton Valley Skijoring’s website.
