The Wilson Hotel in Big Sky Town Center will host an all-day celebration for Mother’s Day on May 11, including yoga, a brunch at Block 3 and various wellness-oriented activities at the hotel’s pool and lobby bar.
Reservations and sign-up fees are required for most activities. Hotel marketing manager Sam Ayres explained that The Wilson wanted to do something to bring people together for an exciting Mother’s Day activity at a time of year when many Big Sky businesses are closed.
The brunch at Block 3 will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with live music, floral displays and a complimentary Aperol spritz for each mother. Pricing is based on the a la carte menu, which includes a Bloody Mary bar, mimosas and fresh juices, and huckleberry-stuffed French toast among other breakfast classics. Reservations are recommended.
“We’re really excited about the brunch,” Ayres said, adding that after Mother’s Day, the hotel will continue to host brunch every Sunday into the summer.
The Mother’s Day activities begin with yoga led by Santosha Wellness from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at The Wilson. Registration is required by calling the front desk of the hotel, and pricing will be determined by group size.
After brunch, from noon to 5 p.m., the lobby bar and pool area will offer a live DJ, small bites, photo booth, and pool activities. Brunch guests will receive free access to the pool, and other attendees can purchase a pool pass from the front desk. Mothers will receive complimentary tote bags with bath goodies and discount vouchers, according to a press release from the hotel.
Complimentary 10-minute chair massages will be available from noon to 2 p.m., with registration available at the front desk.
From 1:30 to 3 p.m., attendees can participate in a paint and sip activity, with registration required for $50, including two drinks. Afterwards, sound baths will be available from 3 to 4 p.m. with registration required and prices to be determined at the time of the event.
“With Mother’s Day falling during Big Sky’s lovely spring season, we wanted to offer a celebration that welcomes residents and visitors alike,” Mandy Hotovy, area GM of The Wilson Hotel and Block 3, stated in the press release. “It’s the perfect opportunity to come together, connect with loved ones and newfound friends, and honor moms, with a variety of foods, drinks and wellness-oriented activities available throughout the day.”
