On Thursday evening, May 14, Greater Gallatin United Way will host its annual fundraiser, United Night of Giving, featuring gourmet dining by regional chefs, live music and live and silent auctions.
The event will be hosted in a hangar at Yellowstone Jet Center in Belgrade, in collaboration with the Big Sky Food and Wine Festival, a new event coming to Big Sky in September 2026. Food will be prepared by “eight of the region’s most talented local chefs,” including Kenan Anderson of Provecho, Emily Hahn of Mountain Provisions and Jarrett Wrisley of Shan, according to a GGUW press release. Tickets are available online.
GGUW President and CEO Kim Hall described the importance of the event to the nonprofit’s work supporting early learning, youth success, basic needs and mental health and wellbeing across Gallatin, Madison, Meagher and Park counties.
“United Night of Giving is one of those moments where you can truly feel the strength of this community,” Hall stated in the release. “It’s neighbors, businesses, and local leaders showing up for one another. Because of that collective support, we’re able to impact more than 35,000 lives each year, supporting working families, expanding access to early learning, and making sure people have the resources they need to thrive. This night is a celebration of that impact and the people who make it possible.” GGUW is accepting donated auction items and offering certain sponsorship packages, with more information online.
