Bridger Bowl Ski Area is planning to open on Friday, Dec. 8 as scheduled with three runs open: Mogul Mouse, Sunnyside and Sundog.
In a Dec. 5 video updating skiers, Hiram Towle noted that the planned opening date is still slightly tentative due to warmer temperatures during the week. According to the National Weather Service Great Falls, Sacajawea Peak in the Bridger Range will see temperatures close to 50F today, falling to about 40F at night.

On Thursday, however, there’s a 90% chance of snow, possibly accumulating between one to two inches. Temperatures are projected to fall to 28F at night.
Towle recommended that Bridger Bowl skiers tune in to further updates as the opening date approaches.
