Custer Gallatin National Forest announced July 11 that Cinnamon Buck Trail #6 is closed due to grizzly bear activity around a carcass in the area. The closure is in effect from the Cinnamon Buck trailhead at the terminus of road #248, to the junction with trail #63, or Lizard Lake Trail.

The affected trail is located about 11 miles south of Big Sky, and is a popular recreation area used to access Cinnamon Mountain.
