Additionally, the West Pine Trail No. 139 on the Yellowstone Ranger District is closed approximately 3.48 miles from the West Pine trailhead to the intersection of Trail #139 (West Pine Trail) and section 24 T4S R7E, approximately 4.64 miles from the West Pine trailhead. Stillwater Trail No. 24 in the Beartooth and Gardiner Ranger District is also closed from mile post 15.63 (intersection lake of the Woods trailhead) from Woodbine in the north, to mile post 23.75 at the Upper Stillwater trailhead near Lake Abundance trailhead to the south.

All closures are “in response to the presence of bear attractants in close proximity to the trail,” stated the Forest Service, noting that closures can be monitored on their website.
