In their 2013 homecoming football game, the LPHS Big Horns scored on their first play from scrimmage against the West Yellowstone Wolverines and never looked back. The Battle of 191 went to the Big Horns 50-0.

With their excellent kicking game and swarming defense, the Big Horns kept the Wolverines bottled up deep in their own territory for most of the game while they reeled off touch down after touch with a mixture of running and passing to their often wide open receivers. Only once did the Wolverines drive to within scoring position and then the Big Horn defense stiffened up and held the Wolverines for four plays at the two yard line and ultimately took over on downs.

The Big Horns are now 3-3 and have two games left on their schedule. On Oct. 18, they are away against Hot Springs (3-1) and on Oct. 26 they play their final home game of the regular season against Lima (2-4).
