The Big Sky Real Estate Collective, an association of realtors from various local agencies, announced in a press release that the group awarded $84,353 to four Big Sky nonprofits through its 2024 giving program, supporting community health, food security, mental wellness and environmental sustainability.
Members of the collective contribute 1% of their annual commissions to fund programs that strengthen the local community. The release listed year’s grants.
Big Sky Bandage received $58,103 to help uninsured and underinsured residents cover unexpected medical bills.
Big Sky Community Food Bank received $8,750 for its “Food It Forward” program, expanding food rescue efforts and reducing waste.
Wellness in Actionreceived $7,500 to increase access to affordable mental health counseling for ski patrollers, first responders and educators.
Big Sky Sustainability Network Organization (SNO) received$10,000 to grow its Residential Energy Audit program, helping residents improve home efficiency.
Since its launch, the collective has contributed nearly $300,000 to local nonprofits, keeping all funds in Big Sky to support grassroots solutions.
“By giving together, we create a deeper, more lasting impact,” collective member Katie Morrison stated in the release.
