Big Sky’s premier summer music and conservation event just got even bigger
Wildlands and Outlaw Partners are excited to announce the addition of acclaimed singer songwriter Jamie McLean and regional favorites Fader MaGavin and the Risky Livers to the 2026 Wildlands weekend lineup at the Big Sky Events Arena on July 31 and Aug. 1, alongside the debut of the new Wildlands Family Jam, a free Saturday morning concert experience designed to bring families into the heart of the weekend.

Known for blending world class live music, mountain culture and conservation impact, Wildlands continues to evolve into one of the most distinctive destination music events in the American West.
A longtime favorite in Big Sky, Jamie McLean will open Saturday evening performances with his electrifying mix of Americana, soul, rock and roots music. Joining the expanded lineup is Teton Valley and Jackson Hole staple Fader MaGavin and the Risky Livers, a gritty alt country and roots rock outfit celebrated for raw storytelling, outlaw energy and rough edged Americana spirit.
“I’m really excited to return to Big Sky this summer to join Carrie Underwood, LeAnn Rimes, Riley Green and be a part of Wildlands,” said Jamie McLean. “Big Sky is always a tour highlight for me and it has become a home away from home. Fans have become friends and family and I am truly honored to be embraced by the local community. Wildlands is an absolutely top shelf event and I can’t wait to come get down!”
The additions deepen Wildlands’ connection to the culture and sound of the Rocky Mountain West while amplifying an intimate mountain town atmosphere.
For the first time, Wildlands will also host the Wildlands Family Jam, a free Saturday morning family event from 10 a.m. to noon inside the Big Sky Events Arena. Designed to make kids feel like they are stepping into a real concert experience, the event will feature a pancake breakfast, interactive family activities, face painting, music themed entertainment and a live performance from Papa Strings with special guest Jamie McLean.
The free event is open to families from Big Sky, Bozeman and across Gallatin Valley.
“This expansion reflects the evolution of Wildlands into more than just an evening concert series,” said Josh Timon, COO of Outlaw Partners. “We’re creating a full community experience rooted in music, conservation and Montana lifestyle, one that welcomes longtime locals, visitors and families into something truly special.”
Now entering its sixth year, Wildlands has quickly established itself as one of the country’s most unique outdoor music experiences, pairing major national artists with an intimate venue surrounded by the mountains of Big Sky, all while raising funds and awareness for conservation efforts across the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
Saturday night, Aug. 1, will feature global country superstar Carrie Underwood alongside rising country standout Kaitlin Butts. Friday, July 31, brings performances from multi-PLATINUM, ACM and CMA Award-winning singer-songwriter Riley Green and Grammy-winning singer-songwriter LeAnn Rimes.
Event organizers say the new family programming reflects the rapid growth of young families across Big Sky and Gallatin Valley and the desire to create more shared cultural experiences around live music, community and the outdoors.
With major headline performances, conservation driven purpose and now a fully immersive family component, Wildlands 2026 is shaping up to be the biggest and most dynamic year yet.
