In just over two years, Montana State University and North Dakota State University will travel to the Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium for a special Labor Day weekend football game.
The 2027 Vegas Kickoff Classic will be organized by ESPN Events, according to a press release from the MSU Athletics Department. While the date and time are yet to be determined, the Bobcats and Bison will play at some point in the weekend ahead of the prime-time matchup between University of Miami and University of Utah on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2027.
Last year, the Kickoff Classic game between FBS powerhouse programs University of Southern California and Louisiana State University drew 63,969 fans, building off the success of the inaugural event in 2021 between Brigham Young University and University of Arizona.
While MSU and NDSU will face off again in the meantime, the 2027 game will at least be a rematch of the 2024 FCS National Championship when the Bison took down the Bobcats in Frisco, Texas.
