“Customers will learn about and have access to the full scope of services available to help mitigate tight budgets and avoid or eliminate crises,” the HRDC stated on their website. Market Place is the beginning of a years-long project to provide a campus that addresses both emergency housing and food insecurity needs as well as long term initiatives like educational programming and providing resources to assist community members to stability. A second development, Homeward Point – year-round emergency shelter and resource hub – is set to open in 2025.
