Bozeman library talk to discuss Montana mountain goats

On April 2, Montana wildlife biologist and photographer Bruce Smith will give a presentation on mountain goats at the Bozeman Public Library. The event starts at 6 p.m. in the library community room and is free and open to the public.

Smith will share insights about mountain goats from their habitats, history and behavior. He’ll also discuss results from a statewide status review of Montana’s mountain goats, including the differences between native and introduced populations.

The presentation will feature photographs from Smith’s book, “Life on Rocks: A Portrait of the American Mountain Goat.”

The event is put on by Wild Montana, an organization that forms and supports policies protecting wild and public lands.
