In a Facebook post on Thursday, the Bozeman Police Department asked for assistance in locating Nathan Moore, a 33-year-old male who was reported missing on May 1. Moore is reportedly 6’1″ in height, weighs 185 pounds, and has blonde hair and hazel-colored eyes. According to the post he is not believed to be driving a vehicle.

“On May 26, a U.S. Forest Service Officer recovered his property from a bear-proof storage container at Blackmore Campground next to Hyalite Reservoir. GCSSAR conducted an extensive search of the area, using search dogs, drones, and boats, but ultimately could not locate Moore,” stated BPD in the post.

BPD requests that anyone who finds any of Moore’s personal property, like a bicycle or backpack related to his disappearance, to contact Detective Spencer Jenkins at 406-582-2224.

“Every piece of information, no matter how small, could help lead to his safe return,” BPD concluded.
