All day long on Friday, May 31, various locations around Bozeman will host the Montana Festival, a series of presentations and panels featuring more than 30 speakers, and networking opportunities.

The festival is “Montana’s annual gathering of entrepreneurs, creators and community builders co-creating the future,” according to the event website. The bulk of events are scheduled on Friday, May 31, plus a welcome event on May 30 and wrap-up hike on June 1. Tickets are $100 for individuals.

“Montana is at a crossroads,” the website states—reiterated by the festival logo in the shape of a railroad crossing. “Inflection points create opportunities for innovation, for creativity, for connection, and for personal growth. We are all co-creators of the future of our communities.

“Montana Festival is bringing together the top entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators, investors, culture creators, designers, community builders, movers, shakers and policymakers to connect, share ideas, and accelerate Made in Montana ideas, projects, startups, and policy solutions that create good jobs, great towns, and can serve as model across America.”

Thirty-three speakers are scheduled to participate, including investor Chris Sacca, Kampgrounds of America President and CEO Toby O’Rourke, “world famous” architect Kai-Uwe Bergmann, and the mayors of Billings, Bozeman, Kalispell and Helena.

The festival is organized by Last Best Future, a nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to “positively shap[ing] Montana’s future.”
