The City of Bozeman announced Monday that they have launched a new monthly podcast, Bozeman Beat, aimed at discussing key issues affecting the community. The podcast is hosted by new Bozeman Mayor Joey Morrison, who will lead the first two seasons.
“Just over half of adults living in the US listen to podcasts,” Mayor Morrison said in a Feb. 2 press release. “This is a format that people are increasingly using to learn something new, and we’re interested as a city in providing a space different from the Commission room to share our thoughts and learnings. We hope that residents tune in and let us know the topics they want us to discuss in further depth.”
Early episodes focus on topics such as the start of the mayor’s term and housing in Bozeman, with future episodes featuring conversations with community members on city-related issues and other topics impacting residents. The podcast is available on all major podcast platforms, and listeners can submit ideas or feedback via email to podcast@bozemanmt.gov.
