Big Sky one of 17 towns to submit an application to become Montana CHF

The board of directors at the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center plan to announce a shortened list of towns to move on to the next round of becoming Montana’s showcase cowboy town.
Big Sky was among nine other communities to place a bid to receive the honor and the $24 million construction project for a campus to be built in town.
Ryan Hamilton, director of the Big Sky Town Center, said the campus, should Big Sky receive the project, would be built along Highway 191 in Big Sky.
