Dr. Paul Nugent to discuss problem-solving in agriculture

In a May 15 Science Inquiry Series talk, Dr. Paul Nugent, research professor at Montana State University’s College of Agriculture, will address how communities can navigate agricultural production with fewer resources. 

According to an April 29 press release from Gallatin Valley Friends of the Sciences, Dr. Nugent will present his talk, “Feeding the World with Fewer Resources,” for the fifth and final presentation of the series. The talk will occur at Museum of the Rockies’ Hager Auditorium on May 15 at 6 p.m. The talk is free and open to the public. 

Dr. Nugent will discuss how technological advancements and automation can address use of resources and labor for sustainable and sufficient agricultural practices and production. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. 

The Science Inquiry Series is sponsored by GVFS, co-sponsored by Hopa Mountain, and hosted by Museum of the Rockies
