Applications are open for Bozeman’s 15th Fix Up Festival, an annual event that allows the opportunity for homeowners to apply for free home repairs on Oct. 4.
Hosted by the Sunrise Rotary Club, the Fix Up Festival selects applicants with an emphasis on low-income families, veterans, those with disabilities and senior homeowners. Households within those parameters in the Gallatin Gateway, Bozeman, Belgrade and Four Corners area are welcome to apply. Applications close March 31.
“The Festival is about more than fixing structures. It is a gift of heart that fills lives with a sense of value and hope. My shoulders are lifted with my head held higher as I utter thank you to all who made this possible from those who give of treasure and needed materials to those who give through planning and coordinating of a job such as mine,” a participating homeowner stated anonymously in a testimonial on the event webpage.
