Flu shots available in-home for seniors

BOZEMAN – First Choice Home Health, a locally owned home health care agency in Bozeman, is making it easy for seniors on Medicare or Medicaid to get a flu shot in the comfort of their own home. No prescription or doctor’s order is required.

Getting the influenza vaccine at home saves time and effort going to a clinic. Plus, it saves seniors from being exposed to germs by visiting a clinic.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends people age 65 and older get vaccinated, as well as people who have certain medical conditions including asthma, diabetes and chronic lung disease.
