Museum of the Rockies will host a celebration for the opening of its newest exhibit, “FROGS: A Chorus of Colors” this Saturday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Attendees of the event will have the chance to encounter live frogs from all over the world and partake in crafts and sensory activities.
In the exhibit itself, which will run from Feb. 6 to Sept. 7 of this year, museum-goers will witness the singing, camouflage and colors of frogs in their natural habitats with live plants. The interactive exhibit allows visitors to trigger real frog calls, and learn about the amphibian’s biology and history, as well as their roles in human cultures and ecosystems.
Curious minds can learn more about the FROGS exhibit, and others, on the museum’s website.
