Parents struggling with car seats, or who just want to ensure they are installed safely, can meet with the Gallatin City-County Health Department for free guidance on how to do so. Car seat experts will meet with individuals who have appointments to assess the safety of their car seat.
Anyone interested can sign up online. According to the GCCHD, Montana requires that children under the age of six who weigh 60 pounds or less must sit in a car seat.
