Time to lace up the hiking boots, runners or biking shoes—Gallatin Valley Land Trust has kicked off its annual Summer Trails Challenge. From June 1 through 27, local recreationists can log each mile they run, hike, walk or bike, with one mile equating $1. GVLT hopes to raise $90,000, their biggest goal yet.

The Summer Trails Challenge is free to anyone and all fitness levels, and is supported by generous donation-matching sponsors. Miles can be logged here, and on Thursday, June 27, GVLT will host a thank you finale BBQ, at the GVLT office at 212 S. Wallace Ave. #102.
