A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to aid the family of Leslie Brown, a Bozeman woman who was killed by a car while crossing the street near Bozeman Regional Park on Oak Street. Brown is survived by her husband Bill, and their daughters, ages 5 and 8.

“Leslie was an extraordinary person—a devoted wife, mother, friend and a cherished member of the community,” stated the campaign summary. “She worked as a nurse at the local hospital for more than 10 years, where she built close relationships with her coworkers and touched countless lives with her warmth and generosity.”

Montana Nurses Association, an organization that represents professional nurses in the state, shared the GoFundMe on their Facebook page and shared more about Brown.

“Leslie was a compassionate caregiver, strong patient advocate, and valued member of her healthcare team. Her impact on patients and coworkers will not be forgotten,” the post stated.

The fundraiser has been established to help cover the girls’ medical needs and future education expenses.
