Date night returns first Fridays
BIG SKY – Donate, sell or buy used goods, or pick through the ends for free—the Morningstar yard sale Sept. 8 will raise money for Big Sky’s day care center.
The families of Morningstar will be selling breakfast and coffee to start out the day, with all proceeds from the breakfast and sale benefiting Morningstar Learning Center.
Drop-off for donated goods is Sept. 7, said Amy Gale for Morningstar. There is also an option to sell your own for a fee, and goodwill picking up at the end of the sale. “So far we have a lot of great stuff,” Gale said, “furnishing from two homes, toys [and] clothes.”
The sale will be 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Morningstar Learning Center’s parking lot in the Meadow Village, 659 Spruce Cone Drive.
Morningstar is also bringing back its popular ‘date night’ the first Friday of every month, starting Sept. 7 from 6 – 10 p.m. Children need not be enrolled at the learning center to participate. Dinner and movies provided.
The daycare/preschool is open with a new calendar and schedule as of Sept. 5, and the school is open Monday through Friday.
