Mortgage assistance extended for unemployed

Montana Department of Labor and Industry

HELENA – The Montana Department of Labor and Industry has extended the application deadline for a program that provides mortgage relief to unemployed homeowners until Dec. 31, 2013.

The Making Home Affordable program, which also provides foreclosure alternatives,
“will help those Montanans struggling to find employment stay in their home until they can get back on their feet,” said Labor Commissioner Pam Bucy.
