According to a post on social media, Montana State University made a $3,000 donation to support the University of Montana’s marching band as they travel to Texas for the Football Championship Subdivision National Championship game. The Grizzlies will face the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits on Jan. 7 in Frisco, Texas.

The Griz advanced to the FCS championship for the first time since 2009 after a double-overtime victory over North Dakota State University, 31-29, on Dec. 16.

The Jackrabbits look to defend their title—they defeated the Bison, 45-21, in last year’s title game.

The Jan. 7 game is expected to bring a notable number of travelers from Montana to Texas. Montana Public Radio reported that Delta Airlines and American Airlines have added more flights from Missoula to Dallas.
