Ophir School’s annual Wreath and Poinsettia Sale

BIG SKY – With the holidays approaching, Ophir School’s annual wreath and poinsettia fundraiser has officially begun. Sales will take place in late October, with deliveries during the first week of December. Orders are due back in school by Nov. 2.

This year’s items include a holiday centerpiece, ivory, pink and red poinsettias; a red cedar garland; and three different wreaths.

New this year, the fundraiser is introducing a direct-ship option that allows recipients to receive their gift shipped in a designer box, along with a personalized card.

The adopt-a-poinsettia program also returns this year. Poinsettias can be purchased and will be sent to families and individuals at the Bozeman Deaconess Cancer Center, Rocky Mountain Hospice and other local charities. Students write cards to accompany the poinsettias, as well as deliver them.

Profits from this event support Ophir and Lone Peak High school programming such as ski lessons and equipment rental; holiday and sports programs; classroom enrichment supplies; author, artist and musician visits; field trips; and Expedition Yellowstone.

To place orders, contact Jennifer O’Connor at (406) 570-0765 or j.e.oconnor@hotmail.com.
