Outlaw Real Estate Partners, one of the most active residential and commercial mixed-use developers in southwest Montana, has announced that Clayton Peacock has joined the company as Director of Development and Construction.

Peacock will lead development execution across OREP’s portfolio of master-planned, multifamily, commercial and residential projects in Bozeman, Belgrade and Big Sky, overseeing entitlements, design, construction and delivery as the company enters a multi-project vertical development cycle.

A Big Sky native, Peacock brings more than a decade of development and construction experience, most of it in Southwest Montana, most recently as Senior Project Manager at Lone Mountain Land Company, where he played a key role in development and construction of Gallatin Gateway Inn and Gateway Village in Gallatin Gateway, Cold Smoke, and multiple projects in the Yellowstone Club.

“Clayton grew up here, and he has built here,” said Eric Ladd, CEO and founder of OREP. “He knows the ground, he knows the trades, and he understands what it takes to deliver in this market. As we move into vertical construction across several projects at once, having that depth on our team matters enormously.”

OREP currently has 13 active projects across southwest Montana, including Urban Farm, a mixed-use master-planned community in West Bozeman; Yellowtail Residences in Big Sky; and Yukon Lane, a 200,000 SF industrial warehouse and logistics center in Belgrade, MT.

“I have watched Southwest Montana change a great deal, and I care about how it gets built,” Peacock said. “What drew me to OREP is that they are thinking about places, not just projects — neighborhoods that will still make sense in twenty years. Getting to do that work in the community I grew up in is not something I take lightly.”

Peacock will be based in Big Sky and Bozeman. OREP is a vertically integrated real estate investment and development firm and a sister company to Outlaw Partners, a media, marketing and events company in the Rocky Mountain West.
