The Big Sky Community Food Bank is asking for help this holiday season. Its newest donation drive is called “Thanksgiving in a Bag.” Some suggested items for the bag include:
• Turkey (any size)
• Stuffing mix in a box
• Boxed potatoes (any kind)
• Canned vegetables – yams, green beans or corn
• Rolls
• Cranberry sauce
• Bagged salad with dressing
• Pie crust
• Canned pie filling
If you’d rather not shop, the food bank can do it for you and suggests a $40 donation, which would fill a bag.
Grocery donations should be dropped at the food bank, below the Bugaboo restaurant after 10 a.m. Tuesday. Cash or check donations can be made anytime at the Country Market or at the Food Bank on Tuesday.
