BIG SKY – With only a few days left to mark the end of the winter season at Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin, both resorts will be celebrating with events this weekend.
Big Sky Resort’s Pond Skim will be April 13, at the bottom of Ambush beside the Ramcharger lift. This event draws a massive crowd, and is a family and local favorite. Come and check out the splashes and crashes as participants test their skimming skills.
The next day, closing day for both resorts, April 14, Moonlight Basin is hosting the Huck-A-Berry Jam. This terrain park event will feature a top to bottom “fun run” setup on Cupajo, viewable from Headwaters Grille. All entries will go into the cash purse to be split up among the top skiing and snowboarding athletes. Sign up and charge or grab a drink from the Headwaters Grille and soak in the sun as you cheer on the competitors.
