A local group has organized a Run for Alyssa event on Monday, Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. Participants are invited to meet at the Bozeman Public Library for a short run or walk to Peets Hill. All are welcome.

Alyssa Lokits was assaulted and killed on Oct. 14 in Nashville, Tennessee on the popular Mill Creek Greenway Trail while out for a run. Communities across the country have been hosting Run for Alyssa events in an effort to raise awareness about violence against women and supporting safe recreation for everyone.
