The Big Sky Ski Education Foundation held the second annual Gransberg Cup Sunday, March 11, on Hangman’s trail at Big Sky Resort. The fun dual GS race was named after Glen Gransberg, a longtime racer who succumbed to cancer last year.
More than 80 racers of all ages turned out for this year’s event.
“Parents challenged their kids, which was foolish, but in good fun,” said Laura Bell, BSSEF’s board secretary. “It was a great way to honor someone, and just have non-racers and racers get on the hill. It was a beautiful day.”
