BIG SKY – There’s plenty to do in Big Sky during the summer. Visitors can enjoy a family vacation, an adventure filled weekend, or a romantic getaway, just a short drive from the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.

For the first time, with the help of Visit Big Sky – a nonprofit corporation responsible for marketing Big Sky – 10 local businesses have partnered together to promote summer vacation and activities.

The partnership, which includes restaurants, guest ranches, hotels and fly-fishing outfitters among others, will strengthen the local Big Sky business economy and will offer endless summer fun to those who visit, according to Catherine Gilb, president of Visit Big Sky.

“The stories that are generated by this partnership effort will provide a lasting benefit to the whole community through a long digital life that will feed travelers researching our destination for years to come,” Gilb said.

Known for the Biggest Skiing in America during the winter months, Big Sky is also the best summer in America. From blue ribbon trout streams, hiking trails for all abilities, adventure zip lines, world class white water rafting, and backcountry mountain bike trails, it can all be found in Big Sky.

Summer visitors can experience free live music every Thursday in Town Center, shop for local produce at the weekly farmers market and dine at restaurants that offer classic Montana fare as well as modern cuisine. The area offers a variety of lodging options whether you’re looking for a creek side cabin, an amenity rich resort, or a private luxury home rental.

Big Sky is also a gateway to Yellowstone National Park and its breathtaking sights of mountains and geothermal water features, as well as its unparalleled wildlife viewing. These adventures and activities can be booked through the various summer vendor partners.
