On Friday, Oct. 10, the Big Sky Ski Education Foundation will host a fundraising event to premiere a new ski film at The Waypoint.
The Teton Gravity Research film, “Pressure Drop,” marks TGR’s 30th annual film. It will screen at 6 and 8 p.m., and tickets are available online with proceeds benefitting BSSEF.
“From Norway to Jackson Hole, ‘Pressure Drop’ follows the world’s top skiers and snowboarders through deep powder, huge cliffs, and iconic lines,” the film’s description states. “Born from a dream and forged on the edge, this is TGR’s 30th annual film—a tribute to the fleeting moment when breath slows, gravity takes over, and everything else fades.”
“Pressure Drop” was shot between Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee, Wyoming; Lofoten Islands, Norway; Valdez and Haines, Alaska; Interior British Columbia; and Palisades Tahoe, California. The film tour launched Sept. 13 and will make 200 stops around the world.
