On Saturday, June 1, Wild Montana will host outdoor volunteer opportunities across the state for National Trails Day. Volunteers will work as trail ambassadors and help collect data during the day-long event.
Bozeman and Big Sky’s event will occur at Lava Lake Trailhead. Volunteers will greet visitors and collect data for the U.S. Forest Service. Those interested in hiking to the lake can also do so.
