Big Sky Resort is offering discounted lift tickets to season pass holders at other regional ski resorts. While many other ski resorts in the region have closed, Big Sky is still open and exited to offer affordable late season skiing to regional skiers, including $51 lift tickets for unlimited season pass holders at all Montana resorts, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and Grand Targhee Resort. This discount will be available through April 24 when Big Sky Resort will close for the season.
“The conditions are still great at Big Sky and we’re excited to help regional skiers take advantage of great spring skiing after their home mountain is closed,” said Chad Jones, Big Sky Resort’s Public Relations Manager.
Unlimited season pass holders at all Montana ski resorts, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and Grand Targhee Resort need only to show their home resort season pass at Big Sky Resort’s ticket window to receive the discounted $51 lift ticket. The price is valid April 11-24, 2011, allowing regional skiers to participate the April Funtacular, which includes ’80s Day and the annual Pond Skim on Saturday, April 23.
At the Pond Skim, costumes and acrobatics can be truly astounding. In previous years the event has seen nose dives, flips, cartwheels or just huge dive bombs.
