DOWNTOWN BOZEMAN ASSOCIATION
On Saturday, Dec. 3 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. the Downtown Bozeman Association and presenting sponsors host the 36th annual Christmas Stroll in historic downtown Bozeman.
One of Bozeman’s most beloved holiday traditions, and a kick-off to the festive season, the Christmas Stroll is an event for the whole family with hay wagon rides, photo opportunities with Santa Claus, the lighting ceremony of the downtown decorations, a gingerbread house contest display, and Christmas carols.
Patrons can grab a bite to eat from one of approximately 40 nonprofit food vendors and do some holiday gift shopping.
The Christmas Stroll is a free community event that is 100 percent supported by business sponsors and the sales of a $4 stroll button, which serves as a ticket for many of the offered activities including Santa pictures at the Baxter Hotel, the hay wagon rides from Soroptimist Park, kids’ activities at the Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture and more.
The 2016 Christmas Stroll buttons will be sold at many local Bozeman businesses. Visit downtownbozeman.org/event/christmas-stroll for a complete list of outlets.
