Late voter registration begins for May 5 election

Those that still need to register to vote or update their registration to participate in the May 5 election must do so in person.

Gallatin County Elections shared the timeline in a Facebook post on April 7, noting that the late voter registration period for the May 5 School and Special District Election has begun.

Now through noon on May 4, voters wishing to register or update their registration need to go to the Gallatin County Courthouse in downtown Bozeman and visit the elections department. Voters can also register or update information on election day, May 5.

Ballots for the all-mail election will be sent on April 17 and residents can find their voter registration information online.
