For the first time in its 42-year history, the Montana Ballet Company will be collaborating with both the Bozeman Symphony and Opera Montana on a “fresh, new” Nutcracker performance this holiday season. The unique collaboration will be held during Bozeman Christmas Stroll weekend at the Willson Auditorium on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Dec. 7  at 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The production will introduce all-new choreography, stunning sets and costumes, and exciting theatrical elements, said MBC Artistic Director, Melissa Bowman. It will also feature world-renowned guest artists, Lyrica Woodruff and Benjamin Freemantle, performing the celebrated role of Sugar Plum and her Cavalier. The performance will be carried along by the talent of the Bozeman Symphony and Opera Montana’s Youth Chorus.
