World Language Initiative Montana opened registrations for class sessions in Big Sky and Bozeman on Jan. 1. In Big Sky, people can enroll in English classes and tutoring free of charge, thanks to support from the Yellowstone Club Community Foundation.
The English class sessions begin on Monday, Jan. 8. Click here for class descriptions and schedules in Spanish. Classes will run until Feb. 16.
Depending on language proficiency, students will be assigned levels—level one will have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and level two will have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 to 10 p.m. Both groups will have tutoring hours over the weekend.
Adults interested in learning and practicing Spanish, French and Arabic have opportunities to do so through online and in-person classes.
Beginner and intermediate classes in Spanish are offered online and in-person, as well as an in-person advanced Spanish conversation class. A French intermediate course is open as well as an online beginner Arabic class online. The in-person courses will be held weekly in Bozeman during the evenings.
