Library event to explore Bozeman’s culinary scene

On Tuesday, Sept. 16, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. the Bozeman Public Library will host Yellowstone Public Radio’s Stella Fong for a conversation with local chefs in the Library’s Community Room. 

Fong, host of “Flavors Under the Big Sky: Celebrating the Bounty of the Region,” will be joined by Linda Huang, Albert McDonald and Jarrett Wrisley, all local Bozeman chefs who have recently earned national recognition from the James Beard Foundation. The event is free and open to the public.

“The library is excited to host this event in partnership with YPR,” Ben Nielsen, head of adult programming and outreach at the library, stated in a Sept. 15 press release. “One of the goals for library cooking programs is to build community around food, providing opportunities to experience local ingredients and meet local food producers. We are lucky to have such creative chefs in our community, and we look forward to learning more from them during this conversation.”
